Vaccinations
Immunisation/vaccinations:
A copy of the recommended schedule of vaccinations for children is available and is usually given to parents by the Public Health Nurse. Adults over 65 years and anyone with diabetes, chronic lung disease or heart disease should have: Influenza vaccine every year & Pneumococcus vaccine as indicated by Doctor.
Travel Vaccinations:
For Travel to most countries, other than Western Europe and North America, it is often recommended that travellers have to be vaccinated against some or all of the following:
- Typhoid
- Polio
- Tetanus
- Rabies
- Hepatitis B
- Yellow Fever
- Hepatitis A
- Malaria Protection
