Medical Team

The secretaries, nurses and doctors at the High Street Medical Centre enjoy working as a team to help you with your health needs and each member is a vital link in the chain. You, the patient, are also essential in the teamwork to advance your health gain.

The Nurse is available for:

Childhood Vaccinations
Antenatal / Postnatal care
Smears
Dressings
Nutrition Advice
Ear syringing
Investigations as required by the Doctor: e.g
- Blood tests
- ECG (Cardiograph)
- Spirometry (Lung Function)
- 24 hour Blood Pressure Monitoring.

The Nurse works in conjunction with the doctor for: -

Full medical check up
Diabetic Care
Asthma Care
Heartwatch.

The Nurse will also answer queries with regard to test results.

We are pleased to have the services of a Dietician, Joanne Corbett and an Optician, Jill Farrell. As we move towards a Primary Care Centre we hope to have more members in the team to help you to look after your health.

The work of health care is not easy but very fulfilling. The staff aim to please. If you encounter difficulties with any aspect of our service please discuss it with one of the partners. Abuse of staff cannot, and will not, be tolerated.
