Phoning the Doctor

We are happy to make ourselves as accessible as is humanly possible. However the receptionists have been asked not to interrupt consultations except in emergency. This is to avoid disrupting the consultation, and to protect confidentiality of telephone.

The scope for what can be safely achieved over the telephone is limited and for significant health concerns it may be best to arrange an appointment. The doctors reserve protected time for telephone calls from 2.30—3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

We regret that we are unable to handle routine telephone calls in the emergency surgery on Saturday morning.
